Two things to know before you commit. Airlines bill on volumetric weight as well as actual weight, so a light but bulky carton can cost considerably more than the scale suggests — worth checking your dimensions before booking. And the shipment still has to clear on arrival, which is precisely why we do not promise exact delivery dates on any route.

Sea & Container Shipping

For heavier, bulkier, or less urgent goods, sea is the sensible choice. It takes longer, but the cost difference at volume is substantial — which is why most business inventory from Thailand moves by vessel.

Packing and documentation matter more here than most people expect. Incomplete or mismatched paperwork is the single most common cause of delay on this lane, and it is far cheaper to fix in Thailand than at the port in Manila. We check it before the cargo leaves.
Clearance

This is where shipments go wrong, and it is the part of the job we take most seriously.
Your cargo needs accurate documents, a defensible declared value, a clear product description, and correct compliance information before it can move toward release. Depending on what you are importing, duties, taxes, permits, or inspections may apply. Valuation follows CIF — cost, insurance, and freight — which is what the assessment is calculated against under the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (RA 10863).

De Minimis
Low-Value Shipments May Be Treated Differently
Under CAO 02-2016, goods below the de minimis threshold — currently ₱10,000 FOB value — generally enter without duties and taxes. Thresholds and their application are subject to review and depend on how the shipment is valued and aggregated, so we check where your consignment actually falls during quotation rather than promising an outcome.

ASEAN Origin Can Reduce Your Tariff
Thailand and the Philippines are both party to the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement, so goods that meet the rules of origin may qualify for reduced or zero tariff treatment when supported by a valid Certificate of Origin (Form D). Eligibility turns on the product, its HS classification, and whether the documentation is correct and complete — it is not automatic, and it is easy to miss when shipping without support.

Counterfeit goods should not be shipped. They may be restricted, prohibited, or subject to enforcement action.
Agricultural products may require permits, inspections, or approvals depending on the product and quantity.
Certain electronics, batteries, and automotive components are regulated and may need agency clearance before dispatch.
Security rules apply to both air and sea. Nothing should be hidden, mislabelled, or under-declared. Prohibited items can be held or confiscated.

Arrival and Delivery in the Philippines
Air shipments generally arrive through Ninoy Aquino International Airport and sea freight through the ports. On arrival the shipment still needs clearance, settlement of any duties and taxes, and release before it moves to your door.
