Allow us to assist you in getting started on how to use our service. Just follow these 2 simple steps below and you’re good to go!
- Register an account here > https://hbkglobaltrading.com/register/
- Once you have your own Customer ID number, give it to your supplier together with this link >http://mysupplier.hbkglobaltrading.com
(Not accessible in Philippines as it is only accessible in Malaysia so no need to attempt and access it.)
Your supplier would be needing your customer ID number in that online form that you have just given. Once he/she has filled up the online form, a barcode will be generated for printing. It contains your information, the appropriate warehouse address, warehouse phone number, and warehouse contact person. As soon as the supplier has printed and attached your label on all your boxes then your boxes are ready for shipping to our warehouse.
That’s it!
**********************************************************
- You don’t need anything else from us but those 2 pieces of information (ID number and supplier online form link) so keep it in your records.
- As long as you have those two, you can just keep on ordering from any supplier. Think of these two as your passport to importation
- For repeat orders with the same supplier, ALWAYS ask him/her to use the online form and NOT label your boxes by pen or manually as we need the generated barcode to be attached on all your boxes.
- For new orders from a new supplier, ask him/her to use the online form and NOT label your boxes by pen or manually as we need the generated barcode to be attached on all your boxes.
- HBK will not be responsible for any loss of unmarked/unlabeled box(es)
- So you can be sure that the supplier printed and attached the generated barcodes on your boxes, for your safety and peace of mind, it would be to your best interest to request a photo of your cargo before they ship it to our warehouse. We would be needing that photo for future claims if ever a box or the whole cargo becomes missing.

Why Choose Sea Freight for Malaysia to Manila Shipments?
Sea freight offers the most economical means of transporting goods from Malaysia to Manila, especially for larger shipments that aren't extremely time-sensitive. It provides significant cost advantages compared to air freight.
Key Considerations for Malaysia to Manila Sea Freight
- FCL vs. LCL: Choosing the Right Container Option
Selecting between Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) is a crucial decision impacting cost, transit time, and security:
- FCL (Full Container Load): Ideal when your shipment occupies a significant portion of a 20-foot or 40-foot container.
Advantages: Enhanced security, faster transit times (no consolidation), and often more cost-effective for large volumes.
Example: A Philippine company importing a large shipment of machinery from Malaysia might opt for FCL to ensure secure and timely delivery.
- LCL (Less than Container Load): The more economical choice when your shipment doesn't fill a full container.
Advantages: Cost savings for smaller volumes – you only pay for the space your goods occupy.
Flexibility: Suitable for businesses with smaller or less frequent shipments.
Example: A retailer in Manila importing a small batch of specialized goods from Malaysia could choose LCL to minimize shipping costs.
- Understanding Transit Times and Key Ports
Typical sea freight transit times from major Malaysian ports (like Port Klang, Penang, and Johor) to Manila range from 5-7 days. Factors influencing transit time include:
- Shipping Line: Different carriers have varying schedules and routes.
- Specific Route: The chosen route can impact the overall transit time.
- Port Congestion: Potential delays can occur at either the origin or destination port.
Key Ports:
- Malaysia:
Port Klang: Malaysia's largest and busiest port, handling a wide range of cargo.
Penang Port: major port in northern Malaysia, serving the region's industrial zones.
Port of Tanjung Pelepas: significant container port in southern Malaysia.
- Manila:
Manila International Container Terminal (MICT): The largest and busiest container terminal in the Philippines.
South Harbor: A major port facility handling various types of cargo.
