Why NOT to use Alibaba/Aliexpress Trade Assurance or online payment if you intend to use HBK Global Trading as your shipping method.
On the question above, we have stated Alibaba/Aliexpress’ limitation when comes to character input (see first question above this for your reference), this time we will explain thoroughly as to why it won’t be proper to use it especially if you will use our shipping service.
While we understand that it is normal for any buyer to seek protection for his/her investment and to avoid scam, obviously we will avail of any online protection service we can get, especially if this service is for free. This is where Trade Assurance plays its role.
To simplify, Trade Assurance is an escrow service wherein it makes sure that the supplier gets paid only when the buyer receives his/her item because it was shipped to the name and address registered in the user’s Alibaba/Aliexpress account. Sounds safe and fair for both parties, right?
Here is how things should work under Trade Assurance for a seller to be able to receive your payment:
1) Trade Assurance can then verify if the buyer received the item once the buyer confirms it online and 2) the supplier is able to provide proof of shipping documents wherein it is indicated it was shipped to buyer’s name and address.
HOWEVER, the above process is not applicable if you are going to use our service as the seller will have difficulty having his payment released from Alibaba’s Trade Assurance. Here is the process flow via HBK Global Trading so it will be impossible for the seller to get a hold of shipping documents as his proof that he shipped to your address and under your name.
As far as Trade Assurance is concerned, the seller did not ship to the buyer because the cargo was clearly shipped to an address in China and not to the person registered in that certain Alibaba/Aliexpress account. Your seller won’t have any proof to present Trade Assurance of any shipping document that the cargo was shipped to you using your address. Also, from the diagram above, it’s clear that all shipping documents from China to Manila belongs to our company and is under our company name, not the buyer.
What’s the worst thing that could happen?
1) Because the seller won’t be able to have the funds released from Trade Assurance, Alibaba/Aliexpress will refund you in payment and then you have to pay the seller using another shipping method which most probably will be via bank T/T (wire transfer).
2) The seller can finally release the funds but they will have a hard time so they will have to provide documents as a proof that the cargo was received by the buyer.
Although there are buyers and sellers to our knowledge that were able to successfully complete their transaction using our shipping service while they availed Trade Assurance, we can’t speak on behalf of the sellers on how they’re able to release their funds.
Lastly, so we can be sure that the seller will not be having a hard time, let us be responsible and considerate in asking the seller if it is ok that you use Trade Assurance while at the same time you will be using HBK Global Trading to ship your items.
